Dragons, Snakes and Swords

This line is influenced by my love of antiquities and ancient Egyptian, Byzantine, Greek, and Roman jewelry. These new pieces are made from a specially formulated slow tarnishing Bronze alloy. The finished jewelry looks like yellow, white or rose gold, at  affordable price.
All these pieces are designed and made here in NYC, from start to finish.

THE PROCESS:  First, the pieces are designed and hand carved in wax.
Then, they are cast in my new special Bronze alloy which looks like 14K gold.
Each piece is tumbled, hand polished and finished. Some pieces are set with synthetic gemstones. Necklaces may be purchased on chains or leather cord.

DRAGONS: The Dragon is one of the most powerful totems. Dragons have a diverse range of qualities, emotions and traits. They are most often associated with strength, courage and fortitude. Dragons are messengers of balance and magic. If dragon has arrived in your life, it asks that you tap into your psychic nature and allow yourself to view the world through the eyes of wonder and mystery. The Dragon is the symbol of primordial power. It is master of all elements: fire, water, air and earth. As a spirit guide, it makes a powerful ally in our daily life with its amazing restorative and dynamic qualities. Common meanings associated with a Dragon Totem or Spirit Animal are: Transformation, Wisdom, Metaphysical Knowledge, Beauty, Majesty, Inspiration, Longevity, Movement through Space, Protection from Outside Evil Forces, Elemental Magic, Grounded Energy, Leadership, Fulfillment of Potential, Greatly Increased  Wealth, Magical Prowess, Vitality, Mastery, Insight, Divine Illumination and  Personal Happiness. The Dragon is not one to be feared, but one to be revered!

SNAKES: Snake spirit animals represent healing, transformation, spiritual guidance about life changes and transitions, whether they are happening at the physical, emotional or spiritual level. The snake is close to earth energies and represents life force. Since it’s a reptile, the snake spirit animal is reminiscent of unconscious drives and primal instincts. In ancient traditions as well as modern times, snakes are symbols of healing powers and opportunities. Transmutation is the key word here. The shedding of old skin and emotions and transforming them into something bigger and better. In the Greek mythology, Aesclepius, the god of medicine, is featured with two snakes climbing up a rod, the symbol of what is known today as the Caduceus.

SWORDS:  The sword is symbolic of the penetrating power of the mind, and encourages the wielding of trained intellect to bring about the results we seek. A sword represents Solidarity, Defense, Clarity, Power, Honor and Force. Most perceptible is the symbolism of protection, honor and justice embodied in the blade of the sword. The making of a sword incorporates all the elements: Earth, Fire, Air, Water. The energetic pattern of the sword presents wholeness, balance, totality, and the unification of all resource to form a tightly focused beam of force (energy).

In Japan the sword is a symbol of courage and strength. As a Celtic symbol the sword is connected to gain, wealth, honor.
